Transform Lives Through Communication in the Heart of Texas – Become a Speech Language Pathologist with Us
Imagine a career that not only gives you a platform to showcase your expertise but also allows you to foster meaningful connections within the community. As a Speech Language Pathologist in the dynamic city of Dallas, your expertise will be instrumental in addressing various communication and swallowing issues. Here, your work transforms lives, enhances self-confidence, and ignites the joys of communication from children learning their first phrases to adults recovering vital communication skills.
This position presents a rare opportunity to work with diverse individuals throughout their life stages within an engaging environment that harmonizes outpatient therapy services with select inpatient responsibilities. If your passion lies in nurturing language skills in children, aiding adults with neurogenic disorders, or supporting the elderly in connecting with their families through tailored communication plans, your role here will be fulfilling and flexible.
Conduct thorough evaluations of patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups utilizing both standardized assessments and observational insights.
Craft individualized treatment plans that target both immediate needs and long-term goals for communication, cognition, or swallowing.
Deliver dedicated one-on-one speech therapy focusing on diverse areas, including communication, language, fluency, voice, and more.
Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, and family members, to forge an integrated approach to patient care.
Educate patients and families about therapy strategies, enhancing their ability to support progress beyond therapy sessions.
Participate in occasional inpatient therapy assessments and interventions, maintaining continuity of patient care throughout their healthcare journey.
Ensure all documentation is accurate and timely, adhering to established state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Commit to professional growth through ongoing education and collaborative engagement with peers in the field.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not fully certified by ASHA.
Valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days post-employment.
Strong grounding in evidence-based treatment methodologies for all ages, with expertise in managing developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional verbal and interpersonal skills effective in communicating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to tailor therapeutic techniques to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Robust clinical judgment and problem-solving talents.
Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation best practices.
Attractive compensation reflective of experience.
Flexible scheduling designed to promote a healthy work-life balance with varied patient caseloads.
Potential to focus on areas like pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics.
Paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation.
Comprehensive insurance options covering medical, dental, vision, and life.
Support for continuing education and professional growth opportunities.
A supportive, team-oriented atmosphere that champions high-quality care and ongoing learning.
In this role, you won't merely deliver therapy — you'll immerse yourself in a collective mission that values each voice and fosters community through communication. You'll join hands with passionate clinicians who cultivate a family-like environment, prioritizing teamwork over competition. Each patient carries a narrative; we're here to empower you to help articulate it.

Whether your passion lies in pediatrics, adult speech therapy, or a blend of both, if you are eager to make a difference in the lives of others while growing your own skills, we want to meet you.
If you recognize that speech is more than sound and embrace the belief that therapy involves building connections just as much as achieving goals, this could be the next thrilling chapter in your career.
