ServiceNow ITOM Consulting Manager

Responsibilities Execute deep technical configuration and scripting for ServiceNow ITOM, including discovery patterns, probes, and sensors MID Server installation, configuration, and troubleshooting Event Management rule creation and alert correlation Service Mapping design and deployment Develop and maintain integration solutions with external systems (e.g., monitoring tools, CMDB feeders) Translate technical requirements and architecture into scalable, supportable implementations Work closely with Solution Architects and engagement leads to ensure solution quality and alignment Write and maintain clear, reusable documentation and internal development standards Support system testing, UAT, deployment, and ongoing performance tuning Participate in internal technical design sessions and code reviews Engage with clients periodically during technical workshops, validations, or post-go-live support Desired Skills Proficiency in JavaScript, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow scripting methods In-depth understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, discovery patterns, and infrastructure modeling Experience integrating with third‑party tools such as SolarWinds, SCOM, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, and others Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments Strong troubleshooting skills with MID Servers, connectivity, and system performance Qualifications 5-7 years of professional experience 5+ years of direct ServiceNow ITOM hands‑on work 3+ years of delivering ServiceNow implementations and integrations with an emphasis on ITOM Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management Ability to independently deliver technical solutions with minimal supervision Excellent written and verbal communication, especially around documenting complex logic Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within distributed teams Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% for client engagements Certifications (Preferred) ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Discovery, Service Mapping, or Event Management Certified Application Developer (CAD) Employment Terms Application deadline: 07/31/2026. Wage range: $103,200.00 – $210,900.00 per year.
