Senior IT Business Analyst, G&A

Beam Therapeutics seeks a Senior IT Business Analyst to support enterprise applications across finance, HR, legal, and operations functions. The role involves system implementations, stakeholder collaboration, compliance oversight, and release management for a growing biotech organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead business analyst activities on system implementations and enhancements, collaborating with internal stakeholders and vendors
• Identify business needs, propose aligned technology solutions, and build stakeholder technology roadmaps
• Ensure compliance with SOX controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards across applications
• Manage release planning, testing coordination, deployment, and post-release validation for enterprise applications
• Serve as escalation point for operational and system issues, managing resolution with vendor coordination

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• 6+ years of business analyst experience within IT departments
• Experience implementing or supporting G&A enterprise applications (SAP, Workday, Success Factors, Coupa, Agiloft, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, prioritize effectively, and drive initiatives in dynamic environments
• Ability to work at Cambridge, MA headquarters twice per week
• Biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry experience preferred
