As a Law Clerk at Hooks Meng & Clement, you'll dive into the intricacies of Industrial Relations Law alongside experienced attorneys. Your role will be pivotal in conducting legal research, drafting vital documents, and supporting all phases of litigation. Compensation:

$65,000 - $80,000 annual salary

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research to support attorneys in strategy development throughout case preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
• Assist in managing case files, organizing documents, and maintaining detailed records to facilitate efficient case handling.
• Collaborate with attorneys to prepare for hearings, trials, and depositions, contributing to the development of compelling arguments.
• Analyze and summarize case law, statutes, and regulations to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and others, fostering trust and clarity throughout the legal process.
• Support your team in from the start of the process through all phases of litigation, ensuring seamless coordination and execution of tasks.
• Meet and exceed monthly billing requirements using electronic billing program, Clio.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree. Must be currently in law school or have graduated from law school.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with clients.
• Daily use of the electronic case management system, Filevine, to keep case files organized and up to date as well as billing system, Clio.
• This is an in-office position, so you must reside in the Southern Nevada area.
