Job Overview A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate for its Las Vegas, NV office. The role involves defending and litigating a variety of employment-related claims and providing counsel to employers on labor law issues. The successful candidate will represent employers in various legal settings, including court and arbitration. Duties Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and discrimination charges. Advise and train employers on employment and labor law issues. Represent employers in court, before agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations. Requirements JD from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. 2+ years of experience, with a preference for an employment law background. Current NV bar admission or eligibility to obtain admission. Understanding of state and federal agency procedures. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Attention to detail and commitment to excellence. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational and project management skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Admission to the Nevada State Bar or ability to obtain. Skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
