Labor & Employment Associate Attorney
Location: Reno, NV, 89501
Position Type: Full-Time, Hybrid (3x2) Onsite 3 Days
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
Minimum: Billable annual requirement of 1,950 hours ($5k bonus for every 50 hours achieved above that)
Our client, a leading AmLaw 100 full-service law firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join their Labor & Employment Practice in Reno, NV . This practice is nationally recognized for representing clients in all phases of employment litigation, counseling, and training. The firm offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth and leadership in labor and employment law.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Admission to the Nevada Bar is required.
- 2–7 years of experience in employment law matters, including employment litigation (preferably management-side).
- Experience in employment counseling or in-house employment law is preferred.
- Responsibilities include:
- Drafting and responding to discovery and initial pleadings.
- Drafting and arguing motions.
- Taking and defending depositions.
- Strong writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive customer service and client contact
- Stakeholder interaction with governmental agencies and opposing counsel.
Preferred Skills:
- Substantive litigation experience with a demonstrated interest in labor and employment law.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
