Internship: Creative (Paid) – Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum The Country Music Hall of Fame® and Museum is located in downtown Nashville. It documents and interprets the history of country music, preserving a unique collection and offering educational programs, publications, and exhibitions that cover the genre’s evolution from folk roots to contemporary culture. The museum also operates the historic RCA Studio B and the Hatch Show Print letterpress shop. Description The Creative Department designs and produces all exhibits, advertisements, collateral, web graphics, and on‑property signage, supporting the museum’s mission across multiple departments. Internship Program Overview Paid internships are available to full‑time college students (undergraduate and graduate). Interns work a maximum of 25 hours per week for up to 12 weeks, with flexibility to meet university requirements. The program provides hands‑on experience in museum‑related careers. Field Forward Stipend Field Forward offers a living and relocation stipend to selected candidates who are traditionally under‑represented in cultural arts careers or who demonstrate financial need. Specific Internship Duties Collaborate with Graphic Designers to create digital and print advertisements, social media graphics, on‑property signage, and collateral materials for all museum departments. Use Basecamp daily to manage job details, upload designs, gather feedback, post edits, and track progress toward finalized products. Coordinate projects with the Creative Department’s Project Manager and Graphic Designers. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the institution’s mission and operations. Requirements Minimum Requirements Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in graphic design or a related field. Preferred Requirements Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and basic After Effects. Experience with Microsoft Office. Strong organizational, computer, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
