Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift:
- Evening: 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM
- Night: 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM
- Weekends and holidays required
Position Overview We are seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist with strong experience in Hematology and Chemistry to support laboratory operations in a clinical healthcare setting. This role involves performing routine and specialized laboratory tests, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hematology and chemistry laboratory testing in accordance with established procedures
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results
- Follow laboratory quality control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Document and report test results accurately within laboratory systems
- Collaborate with laboratory and clinical staff as needed
- Support evening and overnight laboratory operations, including weekends and holidays
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
- Hands-on experience in Hematology and Chemistry testing
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to laboratory protocols
- Ability to work independently during evening and night shifts
- Valid New York State Education Department (NYSED) license to practice as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
