Sow Farm Office Coordinator - Blue Stem Livestock

Food Assembler and CleanerPrepare and assemble food for staff. Cleaning interior rooms as assigned in farm. Production data entry, working closely with the staff needs within job description. Help to maintain PIPESTONE core values throughout the farm.Role and ResponsibilitiesCommunicating effectively verbally and in writing as appropriate to the needs of the audienceAct as a mentor to help build healthy relationships with the teamMaintain meal plan within a monthly and per person budgetCreate meal plan for one month in advancePrep and cook lunch Monday -- Friday with leftovers prepared/portioned for weekend staff.General cleaning of interior spaces of the farmSort, wash, dry, fold and organize daily laundryMonitor inventory and order supplies for food prep and kitchen needsAttention to detail and ability to multi-taskData entry and ability to work with company computer programsHelp with general tasks in the barn as needed, including wean room prep and supply room cleaning/organizingQualifications and Education RequirementsKnowledge of administrative and clerical proceduresAbility to acquire food safety certificationWork EnvironmentFarm based office setting with exposure to livestock areasAgricultural swine environment in rural areasNoise levels that require hearing protection in some areasPhysical RequirementsStand, walk and be on feet 8 to 10 hours per day.Frequently bend, reach, squat and kneel.Frequently use one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull.Frequently lift objects weighing 3 to 40 pounds.Occasionally bend while pulling and/or lifting objects weighing up to 40 pounds.Interacting with computers to enter information into the databaseAdditional RequirementsMust have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to get to work and meetings assignedPicking up groceriesAny other duties as assigned by supervisor
