Whether you've got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you're looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.What your day-to-day will look like:Negotiate and determine best price with vendors.Provide quotes to finance.Track vendor performance and ongoing service to determine best resources for our department.Use the maintenance system to maintain tracking and data integrity.Act as point of contact for all questions or issues concerning vender repairs.Track and file all information including invoices, payment statements, documentation reflecting all invoices and payments made for our partners and vendors.Send equipment out for repair and calibration as required.Respond effectively to all emergencies.Comply with all safety procedures, maintaining good housekeeping and safety of work areas. Recognize danger and safety hazards and propose methods to eliminate them.Maintain compliance to State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.Complies with all policies for the safe storage, usage and disposal of hazardous materials.Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programsMaintains a clean and safe work environment.Documents work performance and materials procurement as directed.Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.Required Qualifications:High School diploma or GED required.+3 years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience+3 years in carpentry, sheet metal work, and general building maintenance techniquesStrong understanding of the equipment and maintenance supplies required in all aspects of the maintenance and facilities department.Valid driver's licensePhysical ability to lift 50+ pounds, work at heights, operate power tools, and perform overhead workAble to work on roofs of buildingsCompletion of written documentationSubject to call 24 hours per day and required to work in all weather conditionsPreferred Qualifications:Experience with preventive maintenance programs and CMMS systemsMust be proficient in basic computer skills (spread sheets, reports)Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental complianceExcellent written and verbal communication skills with customer service orientationConflict resolution skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teamsLocation:Onsite - East Syracuse, NYAt JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way — for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees.
