The detox center environment requires a strong collaborative spirit as you partner with a multi-disciplinary team, including the Clinical Director and Executive Director, to ensure clients receive the support they need to achieve long-term recovery. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior LCSW, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of client counseling needs, utilizing DSM criteria for substance abuse diagnoses and ASAM standards to recommend the appropriate level of care.

• Developing and implementing individualized substance abuse treatment plans that address the unique circumstances and challenges of each client.
\n
• Creating discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate clients' transitions to the necessary levels of support and monitoring every aspect of their recovery journey.
\n
• Documenting all counseling sessions, assessments, referrals, and follow-up activities within the client’s clinical record to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
\n
• Maintaining an active caseload while managing all case management tasks, including treatment planning and clinical charting in compliance with organizational standards.
\n
• Coordinating support services for clients and their families, including engaging with community resources and referral sources such as legal, educational, and employment organizations.
\n
• Utilizing a collaborative approach with the multi-disciplinary team to facilitate interventions for crisis-related issues effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on providing high-quality care to clients struggling with substance use disorders, often experiencing co-occurring mental health issues. Through your expertise, you will guide these individuals on their journey towards recovery, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities and personalized support that respects their unique backgrounds and experiences.

Qualifications\n

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and possess a current LCSW license. We seek individuals who demonstrate a deep understanding of ethical practice, therapeutic boundaries, and cultural competency. Additionally, strong organizational and time-management skills are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor's Degree is required, we prefer candidates with professional experience in addiction counseling, trauma-informed care, and those who are familiar with electronic health record systems. Experience in a detox facility or similar environment is highly desirable, as is knowledge of community resources pertinent to substance use treatment.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to salary, you will enjoy an extensive benefits package that includes:
