In this full-time role, you will be responsible for delivering specialized outpatient physical therapy services within our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility. Work Environment

As part of our team, you will work onsite at our dedicated rehabilitation facility, designed specifically for outpatient therapy. You will be working Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, enabling a balanced work-life experience in a community-focused setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical capabilities, medical history, and treatment goals to develop tailored therapy programs.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions and employ manual therapy techniques based on individual assessments.
• Maintain a manageable caseload to ensure quality time spent with each patient, enabling focused and effective treatment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, participating in treatment planning and case reviews to optimize patient care.
• Encourage adherence to non-surgical methods to improve physical function while minimizing patient reliance on medications.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and modalities, modulating programs as necessary to meet recovery benchmarks.
• Document treatment sessions thoroughly using electronic medical records (EMR), particularly within Web PT, for precision in patient care records.
• Continuously monitor progress and outcome measures, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal patient recovery.
• Provide education and resources to patients on health and wellness, promoting lifestyle changes that enhance mobility and prevent future issues.
• Actively seek feedback from patients and adjust therapeutic approaches to maximize effectiveness and satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population comprised of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. Our facility addresses varying age groups, from active adults in need of rehabilitative support to seniors seeking to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no history of disciplinary actions or sanctions.
• Extensive knowledge of manual therapy techniques and their application in outpatient settings.
• Proven ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs tailored to individual needs.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly Web PT, for accurate documentation and patient tracking.
• A strong foundation in evidence-based practices and current rehabilitation trends.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting, preferably within sports medicine or orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with developing specialized fitness programs for patients recovering from specific conditions.
• Experience in mentoring or training less experienced therapists or interns is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The Guthrie Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, aligned with experience and qualifications.
