Facility: Guam Regional Medical City, 133 Route 3, Dededo, GU 96929

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shifts: 12x4 Day/Night (07:00 - 19:00 / 19:00 - 07:00)

Guaranteed Hours: 48

Pay: $3522/week ($1806 stipend, $33/hr W2)

Flight Reimbursement: $2000 (split across 2 paychecks)

Type: Tele unit with PCU care

Cancellations: 3 shifts per assignment

Start Date: June/July only

Ratios: 1:4-5

Unit Info: Cardiac procedures, including non-cardiac thoracic surgery

Shift: Primarily one shift (day or night), flexible scheduling possible

Weekend Req: Yes, every other

Charting: Allscripts/Sunrise

Required Docs: Updated Resume, AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, Photo ID (Driver's License or Passport), COVID Vaccination Card, Two Professional References (Supervisor/Manager include name, contact info, facility, and job title)

Years of experience REQ: 2 years required; 3-5 years preferred.

First-timers accepted: No

Certs REQ: Compact or Guam licensure in hand REQUIRED at time of submittal - ACLS - BCLS

Is on-call REQ? No

Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes - Must be willing to float down to Med-Surg and ED Tele overflow as needed. If floated to ICU, traveler will not care for patients outside their scope of practice.

Locals accepted: No Candidates who reside in Guam are considered local and will not be considered.

Pending License accepted: No - All RNs must have Compact or Guam licensure in hand at time of submittal Guaranteed Hours: Contracted hours. Client can cancel 3 shifts per 13-week assignment.

About the Unit: This is technically a "tele unit" but the level of care is ICU and PCU when needed. Routine, uncomplicated cardiac procedures: Non-cardiac thoracic surgery (e.g. pulmonary lobectomy; first 48 to 72 hours unless complications occur). Nonurgent percutaneous coronary intervention with complications or suboptimal results (for at least 24 hours or until complication is resolved).
