Puesto: Asociado de Producción 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM Descripción del puesto Como trabajador de producción, participará directamente en el procesamiento práctico, la clasificación y el envasado de alimentos. Este puesto requiere trabajar en una línea de montaje dentro de un entorno de almacenamiento en frío y con temperatura controlada, asegurando el cumplimiento de los estándares de calidad y seguridad. Responsabilidades Procesar productos del mar mediante corte, limpieza, recorte y porcionado, de acuerdo con las especificaciones de la empresa. Clasificar las materias primas y los productos terminados basándose en el tamaño, el peso y los estándares de calidad. Envasar los productos en bandejas, bolsas o cajas, y sellarlos utilizando maquinaria automatizada de envasado al vacío. Colocar etiquetas precisas de peso, fecha y producto en los paquetes terminados destinados a la venta minorista y mayorista. Limpiar y desinfectar diariamente las superficies de trabajo, las herramientas y la maquinaria para prevenir la contaminación cruzada. Habilidades esenciales Experiencia en producción, trabajo general y labores de manufactura general. Adhesión a las estrictas directrices del Análisis de Peligros y Puntos Críticos de Control (HACCP) y de las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (BPM). Capacidad para utilizar el equipo de protección personal (EPP) obligatorio, que incluye redecillas para el cabello, batas, guantes y botas. Capacidad para reportar con prontitud cualquier mal funcionamiento de la maquinaria o problemas de calidad del producto. Habilidades y cualificaciones adicionales Capacidad para trabajar en turnos largos dentro de cámaras refrigeradas mantenidas a temperaturas de entre 30 y 40 grados Fahrenheit. Resistencia física para permanecer de pie y caminar sobre pisos de concreto durante turnos de 8 a 10 horas. Fuerza para levantar, empujar y tirar rutinariamente de cajas o cajones con un peso de hasta 50 libras. Destreza manual para realizar movimientos repetitivos y rápidos de manos y muñecas sobre una línea transportadora en movimiento. Entorno de trabajo Se trabaja en un entorno de almacenamiento en frío y con temperatura controlada, con turnos largos dentro de cámaras refrigeradas. El puesto requiere permanecer de pie y caminar sobre pisos de concreto durante la totalidad del turno, así como realizar tareas de levantamiento de cargas pesadas. Job Title: Production Associate

Job Description

As a Production Worker, you will be directly involved in hands-on food processing, grading, and packaging. This role requires you to work on an assembly line within a temperature-controlled, cold-storage environment, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Process seafood products by cutting, cleaning, trimming, and portioning according to company specifications.
• Sort raw materials and finished goods based on size, weight, and quality standards.
• Package products into trays, bags, or boxes and seal them using automated vacuum machinery.
• Apply accurate weight, date, and product labels to finished retail and wholesale packages.
• Clean and sanitize work surfaces, tools, and machinery daily to prevent cross-contamination.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, general labor, and general production.
• Adherence to strict Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines.
• Ability to wear mandatory personal protective equipment (PPE) including hairnets, smocks, gloves, and boots.
• Capability to report machinery malfunctions or product quality issues promptly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work long shifts in refrigerated rooms maintained between 30 & 40 degrees.
• Physical stamina to stand and walk on concrete floors for 8-to-10-hour shifts.
• Strength to routinely lift, push, and pull crates or boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Dexterity to perform fast-paced, repetitive hand and wrist movements on a moving conveyor line.

Work Environment

Work in a temperature-controlled, cold-storage environment with long shifts in refrigerated rooms. The role requires standing and walking on concrete floors for the entire shift and handling heavy lifting tasks. Employees must wear personal protective equipment such as hairnets, smocks, gloves, and boots to ensure hygiene and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Doral, FL.

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
