Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Career Collective Recruiter @ Career Collective | Hiring Engineers, Architects, and Construction Professionals We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer with at least 2 years of experience in the design and analysis of building structures. The ideal candidate will work on a variety of commercial, residential, and institutional projects, contributing to structural design, detailing, and coordination. This role requires strong technical skills, familiarity with building codes, and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the structural design of building systems including steel, concrete, masonry, and wood. Perform structural analysis, load calculations, and modeling using software such as RISA, RAM, or ETABS. Prepare design drawings, construction documents, and specifications in coordination with architects and other engineering disciplines. Ensure structural designs comply with applicable codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, etc.). Support senior engineers with design development, project coordination, and construction administration. Review submittals, RFIs, and conduct site visits for inspections and verification of structural work. Maintain project documentation and participate in internal design reviews Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. 2+ years of experience in structural engineering for buildings. Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., RISA, RAM, ETABS, SAP2000). Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit for structural drafting and modeling. Knowledge of U.S. building codes and standards (IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI). Strong written and verbal communication skills. EIT certification preferred; working toward PE licensure. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in multiple construction materials (steel, concrete, wood, masonry). Familiarity with seismic and wind design considerations. Experience coordinating with architectural and MEP teams. Ability to manage small projects or specific tasks independently.
