Job DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?Senior Trader covering Fixed Income- Agencies and Government responsible for providing actionable ideas and maintaining a high level of service and relationship building.What will you do?Trade Agencies and Treasury debt to service RBC Wealth Management (RBCWM) financial advisors and clients.Support Agency debt underwriting.Responsible for secondary callable trading by providing liquidity and inventory for wealth management and middle market salesforce. Responsible for the accurate marking and hedging of positions.Create actionable trade ideas geared toward retail and middle market sales.What do you need to succeed?Requirements:Bachelor’s degreeSeries 7 and 635 years minimum of relevant trading experienceCandidates should have the people skills to collaborate and communicate well with both wealth management and middle market salespeople.Be fully conversant and knowledgeable of market conditions and industry rules and changes. Possess thorough knowledge of underwriting, secondary market, and relationships with the dealer community.Nice to have:Strong Excel, VBA, and PythonFamiliar with ECN platformsAUTHORITIES, IMPACT, RISK Position will have a direct impact on Fixed Income financial performancePosition authorized to trade accountsRole has access to nearly all firm data, supports investment and risk measurement, and performs daily control functions on security valuationsKEY RELATIONSHIPS ·nteraction with the retail network, middle market sales, trading and support staff.WORKING CONDITIONS Office working conditions in a high intensity trading floor settingMonitoring processing during market hours.Some travel required as neededWhat’s in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
