New Jersey family law experience is strongly preferred because this position will support an active caseload involving New Jersey family court matters. Job Description Support attorneys throughout all stages of New Jersey family law matters. Assist with divorce child custody parenting time child support alimony equitable distribution domestic violence and post-judgment matters. Draft and prepare pleadings motions correspondence discovery case information statements and other legal documents. Organize case files and maintain accurate calendars deadlines court dates and filing requirements. Communicate professionally with clients attorneys courts experts and other parties. Assist with discovery requests document collection production and case preparation. Prepare attorneys for hearings mediations settlement conferences and trials. Handle electronic filing and help ensure court submissions are accurate and timely. Maintain organized client files and keep attorneys informed of upcoming deadlines and case developments. Provide responsive compassionate support to clients during sensitive family law matters. Qualifications 1 year of family law paralegal or directly related legal support experience. New Jersey family law experience strongly preferred. Familiarity with family law pleadings discovery court filings and case management. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple matters priorities and deadlines. Professional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable communicating directly with clients. Strong technology and case management skills. Paralegal certificate or related education is helpful but not required unless otherwise supported by equivalent experience.
