City/State Norfolk, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Heart Hospital located on the campus of Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Intermediate Care Unit! Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiac Procedural & Surgical Intermediate Care Unit (4HH East) Sentara Heart Hospital - Norfolk, VA * $70.00/hr pay rate * Temporary Full Time * 14-week assignment * Day Shift * No benefits Department Overview: This 24-bed cardiac surgical/procedural IMCU provides care to pre and post cardiac surgery patients to include: bypass surgery, cardiac valve repairs/replacements, thoracic surgery/lung diagnostics, and other cardiac based procedures and treatments such as ablations, left atrial appendages, ICDs, and permanent pacemakers. The unit also provides a high level of care to patients with cardiac arrhythmias, heart failure, and chest pain. * Dedicated to high quality care, patient outcomes, safety, and teamwork is a standard of the staff * Nurses handle 3-4 patients on this unit based on acuity level.
