Accounting Director

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Accounting Director to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $150,000 to $170,000 per year. Job Responsibilities Lead accounting operations and oversee financial reporting activities for a portfolio of business entities and assets. Manage month end quarter end and year end close processes while ensuring accurate and timely financial results. Analyze financial performance through budgeting forecasting variance analysis and operational reporting. Support regulatory reporting audit activities and compliance initiatives by maintaining strong accounting controls. Lead process improvement projects system enhancements and reporting initiatives that increase efficiency and accuracy. Requirements A Bachelor degree in accounting finance or a related field. 8+ years of accounting experience including leadership responsibilities within a professional environment. Demonstrate strong knowledge of financial reporting accounting principles internal controls and compliance requirements. Possess experience with budgeting forecasting financial analysis and management reporting. Maintain proficiency with real estate accounting systems and advanced Excel functionality. Qualifications Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate financial results and resolve complex accounting matters. Communicate effectively with executives auditors stakeholders and cross functional business partners. Demonstrate leadership abilities through team development coaching and performance management. Maintain exceptional attention to detail while managing multiple priorities and meeting critical deadlines.
