As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $26.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel at a healthcare-related location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including entrances, parking areas, perimeter locations, and restricted-access spaces. Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and document required activity in daily reports. Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible presence, observing surroundings, reporting unusual conditions, and following established escalation procedures. Minimum Requirements: A guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
