As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.50 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat05:30 AM - 01:30 PMSun05:30 AM - 01:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns. Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Document incidents, patrol activities, and observations accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: Possession of a guard card or license is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
