Job Description

Join our dedicated team as a Neuro Tele RN. This position requires you to float between units as needed and includes working weekends with a commitment of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. The ideal candidate will be capable of managing a patient ratio of 1:4.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage patients with neurological conditions, including CVA, seizures, and other neuro disorders.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, engage with code teams, and care for patients pre and post neurosurgery.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, including physical therapy and social services, to optimize patient outcomes.
• Utilize telemetry and remote monitoring as required.
• Implement isolation precautions and ensure proper use of PPE.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• At least 1 year of experience as a Neuro Tele RN in a short-term acute care setting.
• Valid RN license, compact license preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and neuro patients is essential.
