Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid Compact License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience - Must have experience in MS/Tele Description: This position involves working as a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Registered Nurse. The nurse will float between various acute care units as needed. Weekends are required, with every other weekend being mandatory. The expected patient-to-nurse ratio is 1:5. Seasoned travelers are preferred for this role, with a minimum of one contract experience required. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities. Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment. Nurses will be responsible for a variety of patient care tasks, including telemetry monitoring. The dress code requires solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. Candidates must be prepared to meet the requirements and expectations of the position.
