Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: West Texas

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with self-scheduling; 1:4 patient ratio on days and nights (1:5 on weekends); 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period; floating between units may be required; 48-hour workweeks approved

Highlights:

• 379-bed short-term acute care facility with Level II Trauma Center designation
• Comprehensive Stroke Center with dedicated Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (4 beds with continuous EEG monitoring)
• 29-bed neuro telemetry unit with average daily census of 27 patients
• EPIC electronic health record system
• Robust interdisciplinary team support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• 12-hour orientation with dedicated mentors to support successful onboarding

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with telemetry, remote monitoring, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• 1:4 patient ratio experience required
• Experience with any charting system required; community hospital and Level II Trauma experience preferred
• Neuro stepdown experience strongly preferred, including CVA, craniotomy, aneurysms, pre/post neurosurgery, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, and TPA care
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
