About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Tax Planning and Strategy to lead impactful initiatives for ultra-high-net-worth clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive and strategic financial advice, collaborating with client advisors to provide tailored wealth strategies, and acting as a subject matter expert in individual income tax planning. Key duties include developing and maintaining relationships with external advisors, creating educational materials, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations while optimizing planning strategies. The role also involves contributing to the firm's growth by enhancing the quality and consistency of client services and participating in client meetings to provide actionable guidance. Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a CPA preferred, and at least 6 years of experience in tax planning and wealth management, particularly with ultra-high-net-worth clients. The role requires a strong knowledge of tax planning techniques, the ability to coordinate across multiple advisors, and excellent communication skills to simplify complex topics. Organizational, project management, and relationship-building skills are essential, as is a high degree of professionalism, discretion, and judgment. The Vice President will be expected to support client teams, partner with advisors on various matters, and contribute to the development of the firm's educational content.
