Company: Architecture/Construction FirmRole: Chief Operating Officer / Senior Operations ExecutiveSalary: $250,000 - $325,000/annually Location: New York City (4-5 days a week on-site) About the Role: Our client, a luxury construction and architecture firm, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join their team. Seeking an experienced executive leader to oversee key business operations and support the continued growth of the organization. This role will work closely with senior leadership to help align business priorities, optimize operational performance, and support strategic initiatives across multiple functions.The successful candidate will provide leadership across areas such as operations, finance, administration, technology, and people-related functions while helping ensure the organization has the processes, resources, and infrastructure needed to achieve its goals. Ideal candidate will come from industries including, construction, architecture, engineering, or luxury design firms. Responsibilities:Partner with executive leadership to support organizational objectives and business prioritiesHelp develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency, scalability, and performanceFoster collaboration across departments to improve communication, accountability, and executionLead initiatives focused on process improvement and organizational effectivenessSupport business growth through thoughtful planning, resource management, and operational oversightOversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities in partnership with finance leadershipMonitor business performance and key metrics to support informed decision-makingProvide financial and operational insights to leadership teamsSupport the development of business plans, investment evaluations, and strategic initiativesMaintain relationships with key external business partners and advisorsSupport the development and maintenance of policies, procedures, and internal controlsAssist in identifying and managing operational, financial, and business risksEnsure appropriate governance practices are maintained across the organizationCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders on compliance-related matters as neededProvide leadership and direction across corporate support functionsHelp ensure business systems, technology platforms, and administrative processes effectively support organizational needsOversee initiatives related to operational infrastructure, employee experience, and organizational developmentPromote a culture of continuous improvement, teamwork, and accountabilityLead and mentor managers and functional leaders across the organizationSupport talent development, succession planning, and organizational growth initiativesFoster a collaborative environment focused on performance, engagement, and resultsDrive alignment between teams and organizational objectivesExperience:Significant leadership experience in operations, finance, business management, or related executive rolesDemonstrated success managing cross-functional teams and business operationsExperience supporting strategic planning, organizational growth, and operational improvement initiativesBackground working in professional services, project-based, or operationally complex organizations is advantageousBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related disciplineAdvanced degree or relevant professional credentials are a plusStrong leadership and organizational management skillsExperience overseeing financial planning, operational performance, and business processesAbility to balance strategic priorities with day-to-day executionExcellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management abilitiesExperience supporting organizational transformation, growth initiatives, or process improvement programsFamiliarity with corporate governance, risk management, and business operationsExposure to mergers, acquisitions, integrations, or other strategic business initiatives is a plus New York, NY, US On-Site Architecture & Engineering Services Vaco $ 250000.00 - 325000.00 yearly direct hire
