Diesel Truck & Trailer Mechanic | On-Call & Overtime

This is a Mechanic Position for contract and common carrier with a logistics / trucking company located in Houston, TX. Reports to Shop Foreman. Duties and Responsibilities Maintain tractors and trailers. Perform inspections on equipment. Keep shop areas safe and clean. Other duties as assigned. Requirements and Qualifications High School Diploma/GED. Good communication skills. One year of experience in maintenance and repair (preferred). Air brake certified. Must have own tools. Desired Skills Tank experience. CDL with HAZMAT & Tank Endorsements. Knowledge of newer diesel and emission treatment systems. Benefits 401(k) matching. Dental insurance. Health insurance.
