About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Director of Business Development to lead in the strategic growth of the federal group. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business development, formulating and executing strategies, and nurturing strategic customer relationships. This role is pivotal in capturing large-scale opportunities, with a focus on the federal market. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in securing significant programs, particularly in the $100M+ range, and will be expected to have a strong background in business development, military, or operations, with direct experience in relevant logistics and supply support organizations. Applicants for the Senior Director of Business Development position at the company should possess a Bachelor's degree, with an active security clearance being a plus. A minimum of 10 years' of experience in business development or a related field is required, along with a demonstrated ability to lead in the capture of large programs. Executive presence, and excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The role is highly visible and involves regular interaction with the executive leadership team and board. The company is looking for a candidate who can eventually transition into a VP-level position, with the intention of building and leading a team over the next few years.
