Radiation Therapist Fort Dodge, IA Specialty: Radiation Therapy Position Type: Travel Contract Length: 13 weeks Pay: $2516 - $3032 | Shift: 5x8 Days Are you a skilled Radiation Therapist looking for your next rewarding travel opportunity? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our healthcare partner's team in Fort Dodge, IA. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be an integral part of the interdisciplinary team, contributing your professional and clinical expertise to manage and deliver care to patients. You may also have the opportunity to float within the same discipline across local campuses, enhancing your experience and skills.
- Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by a radiation oncologist
- Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including Varian True Beam (training available if needed)
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in radiation therapy
- 1 year of current Radiation Therapy experience required
- ARRT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Previous travel experience preferred
- Driver's License required
- Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility
