We're looking for a Proposal Writer who enjoys turning complex information into clear, compelling content and thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.About the RoleThe Proposal Writer works under the direction of the Senior Marketing Coordinator to support proposals, qualifications, branding, and business development efforts. This role collaborates closely with Project Managers to ensure marketing deliverables meet R.E.Y.'s quality and brand standards. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who thrives in a deadline-driven environment and enjoys supporting pursuits that directly contribute to the firm's success.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the preparation, writing, design, proofreading, and production of proposals, SOQs, and presentation materialsCoordinate with Marketing, Project Managers, and technical staff to gather information and ensure submissions are complete, compliant, and compellingTrack pursuit schedules, deadlines, and required materialsReview RFP/RFQ requirements to support compliance with applicable laws and regulationsWrite and update project descriptions and staff resumesMaintain and organize the firm's Content Library (proposals, resumes, boilerplate, graphics, photos, etc.)Support systems for organizing and retrieving client, consultant, personnel, and project informationAssist with accurate entry and maintenance of CRM dataHelp link CRM records with project and proposal informationCommunicate and collaborate with marketing staff, technical teams, and external teaming partnersParticipate in cross-departmental efforts that support R.E.Y.'s mission and reputationConsistently delivers accurate, high-quality marketing materials on timeUpholds R.E.Y.'s brand, quality, and professionalism standardsEffectively manages assigned pursuits and deadlinesActively contributes to CRM and content management systemsDemonstrates initiative, collaboration, and a client-service mindsetQualifications Required3–5 years of experience providing marketing or administrative support in the A/E/C industryFamiliarity with A/E/C proposal processes and terminologyStrong technical or persuasive writing and editing skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)Experience supporting document layout, design, or production in a professional settingPreferredAssociate or Bachelor's degree in marketing, communication, journalism, or a related fieldExperience working in Deltek AjeraProfessional SkillsDetail-oriented, organized, and deadline-drivenSelf-starter with a strong sense of ownershipTeam-oriented with excellent communication skillsAble to manage multiple priorities and remain effective under pressureCurious, collaborative, and committed to professional growthAdditional InformationOccasional travel for conferences, tradeshows, or client eventsValid California driver's license requiredWhy Join R.E.Y.?
