Practice: Personal Injury / Workers Compensation
Hours: Full Time 40 hours per week, 90-day probationary period
Start Date: Immediately.
Description: Small, busy Oak Lawn office seeks a compassionate, highly motivated and detail-oriented person to fulfill a rewarding position.
The ideal candidate would thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational skills, with a good sense of humor. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Adobe & internet research.
Bilingual Spanish preferred
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative support to support staff / lawyer to enhance office effectiveness
- Handle communication with clients, callers and visitors in a professional, friendly, and efficient manner
- Prepare correspondence
- Draft standard requests for records
- Answer and direct phone calls
- Assist with document review and organization
- Utilize legal case management software to track case progress
- Monitor deadlines and calendars
SKILLS:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Outgoing and positive demeanor
- Professional presentation
- High school diploma; some college education preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
- Ability to work with a wide variety of people
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
