What your day looks like

You’ll start by checking the shipping plan and open orders, then pitch in to schedule materials for outbound loads and coordinate trucking under the direction of senior team members. As production gets moving, you’ll run daily inventory and material-usage reports, enter accurate transactions in the system, and keep records clean and current.

Throughout the day, you’ll partner with internal teams and outside vendors to respond to straightforward customer questions and help resolve basic material or quality concerns. You’ll also compare invoices with receipts, organize documentation, and handle filing and mailing when needed. During regular inventory audits, you’ll help count stock, validate accuracy, and report findings. And, as with any growing operation, you’ll take on other tasks as assigned to keep materials flowing smoothly.

What you’ll contribute

• Support scheduling for material shipments and assist with trucking logistics under senior guidance
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address basic customer inquiries and assist with material or quality concerns
• Compare and organize invoices and receipts, ensuring proper filing and mailing as required
• Assist with daily reports on inventory and material usage
• Participate in regular inventory audits and report findings
• Enter necessary transactions to maintain accurate inventory records and support operational processes
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Experience: 0–2 years
• Beginning to working knowledge of materials coordination or related subject matter

• Strong organization to manage materials, prioritize tasks, and sustain efficient workflows in a manufacturing setting

Physical requirements

• Able to push/pull up to 30 pounds
• Comfortable standing for extended periods
• Capable of working in noisy environments
