Specifically, being a member of the Judgment Enforcement Unit (JEU), you will have an impact on California workers through investigation and enforcement of judgments such as collecting debts from businesses or individuals pursuant to state labor codes and Industrial Welfare Commission Orders. Under the general direction of the Labor Commissioner, Assistant Chief, or designee, the Regional Manager oversees a region of the Judgment Enforcement Unit (JEU) program with team members assigned to district offices across the State of California. The Regional Manager plans, organizes, directs, and coordinates the work of the designated program to ensure optimum execution of work, training, and uniform adherence to division administrative policies. In addition, the Regional Manager provides and promotes outreach to educate the public and engages community stakeholders to address issues and strengthen enforcement awareness. The Regional Manager also designs, implements and promotes cross program collaborations within Labor Commissioner's Office (LCO) and with other enforcement agencies to ensure compliance with respective laws, appropriate accountability of violators, and dynamic outreach efforts.
