**This position is limited term for 12 months; it may be extended for up to 24 months or may become permanent, contingent on HR and Budget approval**


Under the supervision of the Manager II, Contracts Management Branch, the incumbent is responsible for various contract management activities and oversight serving as the Section Chief over the Service Contracts Section. See attached duty statement.


The California Department of Corrections Rehabilitation (CDCR) Headquarters has implemented a new automated system to streamline the hiring process. The Human Resources Technology System (HRTS) is an intuitive, user-friendly system that provides the applicant access to real-time updates throughout the hiring process. Effective July 1, 2025, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented in response to the status of the State budget. Working Conditions


The position(s) is eligible for hybrid telework, in accordance with the Statewide Telework Policy and will be required to report to the office (9838 Old Placerville Rd. Sacramento, CA 95827) four (4) days per week . The successful candidate must reside in California upon appointment.

Regular and consistent attendance is critical to the successful performance of this position. You must be regularly available and willing to work the hours necessary to meet business needs.
