Position Details Working Title: Budget Officer Classification: SUPERVISOR II Salary Range: $7,872.00 - $9,781.00 Number of Positions: 1 Work Location: Sacramento County Telework: Hybrid Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Job Description and Duties Under the general direction of the Chief of Fiscal Services, Manager II, the Budget Officer plans, organizes and oversees the operations of the Budget Office. The position is responsible for the development, implementation, administration, and control of all phases of the budgeting process for the State Treasurer's Office and the Boards, Commissions and Authorities (BCAs) under the State Treasurer's purview. It also serves as Subject Matter Expert in the absence of the Manager II as appropriate. Special Requirements and Qualifications The position requires a background investigation clearance prior to hiring.
