Ranken Jordan Pediatric Bridge Hospital serves children and adolescents with complex medical needs. Our facilities team keeps this building safe, functional, and running smoothly around the clock. We are looking for a Facilities Support Technician who can handle a wide range of tasks across the hospital and adapt to whatever the shift brings.

What the Role Looks Like

This is not a straight cleaning role, with a checklist of duties, like most places. Here you will move across the building handling light maintenance repairs including doors, locks, plumbing fixtures, lighting, ceiling tiles, and wall surfaces, alongside floor care, room setups, furniture moves, and general facilities support. You will work through a ticketing system, prioritize your own tasks, and respond to needs as they come up throughout the shift, which is never the same! We are a group that works together to make things happen, if another area needs an extra set of hands during high volume periods, this role flexes that direction. If this area needs support, other areas pitch in as needed.

Most of your shift you will be working independently, so we really need someone who is proactive, flexible, and motivated to make our hospital great!

What We're Looking For

• Experience in facilities maintenance, building repair, environmental services, or a related field. Some background across both maintenance and cleaning is ideal.
• Comfortable making minor repairs and operating floor care equipment and hand tools.
• Able to work independently, manage a varied task load, and shift priorities on the fly.
• Reliable and detail-oriented. This is a hospital and the standards reflect that.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
