Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Technologist to join a fast-paced, close-knit team performing cardiac catheterization and special procedures.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting with 4 procedure rooms, 1 patient per room
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Day shift team includes 1 Charge RN, Director, and 4 staff per room (16 total per shift), with 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM hours
• Night shift covered by an on-call team of 3 per call team, 7 total staff
• All rooms equipped with GE equipment including GE Innova
• EMR systems used are Meditech and MacLab
• Frequent on-call requirements with need for flexibility to adapt to unit needs

Requirements

• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Competency in Special Procedures and GE Innova equipment required
• RCIS certification preferred
• Experience with cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stents, balloons, ENT lab procedures, and scrubbing

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac catheterization, cerebral angiograms, stent placements, balloon procedures, ENT lab procedures, and scrubbing duties
• Work within a close-knit, team-oriented environment that values critical thinking and patient care focus
• Red and gray scrub colors required for Cath and EP Labs; unit scrubs may be used
• Candidates must live outside a 50 mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
