Job Summary:

The Cath Lab Tech will assist in providing high-quality catheterization laboratory services, supporting patients undergoing cardiovascular procedures in a fast-paced environment. The role requires competency in special procedures, with a focus on team collaboration and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Prepare and operate GE equipment, including Meditech and MacLab systems, for cardiac procedures.
  
  
• 
  Assist physicians during procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, angiograms, stent placements, and balloon interventions.
  
  
• 
  Ensure patient safety and comfort by monitoring vital signs and maintaining sterile conditions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain detailed documentation of procedures and patient information in EMR systems.
  
  
• 
  Support the team with on-call needs and adapt to the units dynamic schedule and procedural demands.
  
  
• 
  Uphold dress code standards and promote a professional work environment.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications required.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab or EP Lab technician.
  
  
• 
  Must be competent in special procedures and familiar with GE Innova equipment.
  
  
• 
  Preferred certification as a RCIS, with emphasis on cardiac catheterization and angiography skills.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced setting with critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations and adapt to unit needs.
