Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled RN specializing in Labor and Delivery for a travel assignment in Milwaukee, WI. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care for high-risk mothers and newborns in a dynamic work environment that includes a Level IV Trauma Center and Level III Perinatal Center.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Coordinate comprehensive patient care for high-risk mothers and newborns using evidence-based practices
• Conduct maternal assessments and interventions, including fetal monitoring and cervical exams for labor progression
• Assist as a secondary nurse for C-section deliveries and as a primary nurse for vaginal deliveries
• Support surgical recovery and care for high-risk newborns
• Utilize skilled communication to enhance patient experience across the continuum

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• RN license with BLS, NRP, and FHM certifications
• 2 years experience, with Level III Perinatal Care experience mandatory
• Proficiency in managing high-risk mothers/newborns, including procedures for placenta accreta and pre-eclampsia
• Experience with EPIC charting system
