We are seeking a SEO Strategist Business Strategy & Growth to lead our organic search business unit. This role is designed for a heavyweight business and commercial strategist who will own organic revenue growth and retention for our enterprise eCommerce portfolios. While you may have direct reports (including SEO Specialists and Analysts) to execute day-to-day deliverables and tactics, your primary focus is driving the E-commerce business vision, mapping client performance to profitability frameworks, and managing client relationships. What You’ll Do Drive Organic Portfolio Revenue: Take ultimate accountability for organic revenue targets, client retention, and contract renewals across the SEO business unit, aggressively mitigating churn. Set Engagement Strategy: Act as the primary organic business architect and "agency of record" visionary for eCommerce clients, aligning advanced SEO frameworks directly with their macroeconomic business goals. Leverage the SEO Team: Direct their priorities, manage project scopes, and ensure their tactical execution matches your high-level strategic vision to achieve flawless client delivery. E-Commerce Storytelling: Serve as the strategic partner and catalyst for our clients' performance. Utilize web analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe) and our proprietary AI platform, third part SEO tools (SEM Rush, Write Sonic etc.), to deliver sophisticated business reviews and organic strategy workshops to client executives. AI-First Innovation: Embrace AI-driven strategies of the company into search experimentation frameworks, ensuring NetElixir and its clients remain ahead of industry disruptions like generative search experiences. Cross-Functional Business Alignment: Collaborate seamlessly with internal leaders across paid media, web development, and data teams to cross-pollinate strategies and capture holistic growth opportunities. What Makes You a Great Candidate Experience & Education Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related discipline (MBA preferred). SEO & Digital Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience developing, managing, and measuring high-impact technical search campaigns for enterprise-level eCommerce websites and large retail brands. Strategic & Technical Capability Advanced Technical Literacy: Deep understanding of Technical SEO, web architecture, and eCommerce/CMS platforms (Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, WordPress). Industry Tool Fluent: Deep familiarity with enterprise search tools such as Searchmetrics, SEMrush, Moz, and Screaming Frog. Commercial Mindset: Strong experience connecting SEO metrics directly to business outcomes, ROI, and customer lifetime value. Communication & Style Elite Communication: Outstanding written, spoken, presentation, and interpersonal skills with an innate ability to foster deep, trusted client relationships at the executive level.
