Position Overview

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct a range of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout procedures, ensuring each step is clearly communicated
• Work in close partnership with radiologists and referring physicians to ensure high-quality diagnostic images are produced
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any technical issues
• Document procedures accurately and maintain up-to-date patient records within our electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred

Skills Needed
