Position Summary
We are excited to welcome a dedicated Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to our growing imaging family, where you will be pivotal in delivering outstanding diagnostic services. You'll work with cutting-edge ultrasound technology, partner with a collaborative group of healthcare professionals, and ensure patients receive timely, compassionate care through accurate imaging practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a variety of ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
- Prioritize patient comfort and safety, providing clear and compassionate explanations throughout each procedure
- Partner with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver high-quality diagnostic results
- Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues promptly
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records within the electronic medical record systems
- Continuously improve skills and knowledge regarding advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques
Education Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
- Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred
Required Certifications
- Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is favored
