PRN Registered Nurse (RN)

Village CaregivingVillage Caregiving - Helena, MT is looking for a PRN Registered Nurse to join their home care team. The RN will visit clients' homes in and around Helena, MT and the greater area to document medical history, conduct health assessments, and develop personalized care plans for caregivers. The nurse is also requested on occasion to train new caregivers. The schedule for the position is flexible. Pay for this position is $60/hour for up to 2 hours per client assessment.ResponsibilitiesVisit patients in their homes for one-on-one visitsComplete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of home health patientsAssess patients and their environment to develop a care plan in order for the caregiver to have a blueprint to know how to safely and competently take care of our patientsEducate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures, and make recommendations for devices or tools that might improve the patient’s quality of lifeProvide effective communication to patients/clients, their family members, team members, and other health care professionalsFill out VA and Medicaid Nurse Assessment documents on a supplied tablet the same day as assessment.
