Job Description Job Description Part-Time Bookkeeper/Accountant Location: Menifee, CA Position Type: Full Time About Us: We are a growing tax, accounting and consulting firm committed to providing excellent service to our clients. As we expand, we are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our team. Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated individual with strong bookkeeping and accounting skills, especially in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online and Excel . This role will assist with client bookkeeping, payroll processing, sales tax filings, and general accounting tasks. The right candidate will have the opportunity to transition into a full-time position as our firm continues to grow. Responsibilities: Manage daily and monthly bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Process payroll and related payroll tax filings Prepare and file sales tax reports Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes Communicate with clients as needed to obtain missing information and provide updates Maintain confidentiality of all financial data Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Understanding of payroll processing and reporting Knowledge of sales tax filings Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Excellent written and verbal communication skills Spanish-speaking is a strong plus Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred but not required Hours: Part-time: [Specify approximate hours, e.g., 15-25 hours/week] Flexible schedule available Opportunity to increase hours and transition to full-time as the firm grows Compensation: Competitive and based on experience How to Apply: Please send your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and why you’re a great fit for this role to View email address on click.appcast.io In the subject line please include Money Maestro and your name.
