Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid and current Speech-Language Pathologist license (Ohio)
• Previous school-based experience is highly desirable

• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with students, staff, and parents
• Knowledge of IEP processes and development of student-centered goals
• Collaborative mindset and a passion for supporting student growth and success

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with students' educational goals
• Provide both direct and consultative SLP services for students in a range of grade levels
• Maintain clear documentation of student progress and meet all compliance requirements
• Collaborate with general and special education staff, participating in IEP meetings and co-planning strategies
• Educate families and staff on supporting students’ speech and language needs
• Adapt therapy methods to support a culturally and academically diverse population
