Sr. Accountant

Salary: $75K + 10% Bonus Location: Rosemont, IL (Hybrid) Benefits: Health Insurance, 401(k), Paid Holidays, Paid Vacation Hours: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM Hybrid work environment: 3 days/ week in office, 4 days per week during the first 3-month introductory period to facilitate training. Background Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Accounting At least two years accounting experience Excellent Excel skills including Vlookup, nested formulas, & Pivot Tables Job Responsibilities: Perform general accounting activities including entry and review of accounting transactions, review invoices and process payments. Perform Month End Closing Procedures including analyzing account balances, posting month end journal entries, and preparing reconciliations to supporting schedules. Prepare & submit reporting packages to parent company using IFRS. Prepare & submit various BEA surveys on behalf of the group companies. Monitor and report daily cash pooling activities and overnight loan transactions. Account for loan activities including cash receipts and payments of maturing loans. Prepare and review JSOX evaluations for group companies. Assist external auditors during the year end audit. Support the accounting & reporting of legacy company. Personal Characteristics: Willing to travel up to 10-15% of time.
