Client Overview: Our client is in the auto parts service space, acting as advocates for their clients' products and promoting their service offering. They partner with Auto Parts Wholesale Dealers and represent those clients to premier auto maintenance or collision repair facilities. They have been in business for over 20 years, and have a footprint across the US and Canada. Role Overview: As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing and growing strong relationships with new and existing clients. You will drive market growth by promoting a service to wholesale auto dealerships, the top auto repair shops, and networking with other key stakeholders. This role demands a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to cultivate relationships that align with our long-term business objectives! Travel up to 90% within the Greater Columbus and surrounding area territory Build and nurture strong relationships with auto dealerships and auto repair shops by delivering exceptional service and on-going support face-to-face. Develop a deep understanding of dealership and shop operations related to buying and selling auto parts, identify their key challenges, and create solutions to facilitate smoother business interactions between them. Create and execute a strategic sales plan to meet or exceed sales targets and expand our customer base. Drive market growth through cold calling, networking, negotiating and closing deals. Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts to prospects. Stay informed about industry trends, product knowledge, and competitive landscape. Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions, providing regular updates and detailed reports to clients on a daily and weekly basi s. Qualifications: Prior experience with territory business development/sales Happy with 80-90% on the road time in the local territory Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal capabilities Reliable vehicle (this role does not come with a company car) Experience in the automotive, parts, or related industry highly preferred! #J-18808-Ljbffr Sqrl
