Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings, goals, and the physician's plan of care.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and evidence-based practices to address conditions related to orthopedics, pediatrics, neurology, and sports medicine.
• Monitor patient progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate and empower patients and their caregivers through consultations, training, and support, ensuring they are equipped to continue their recovery outside of therapy sessions.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient evaluations, progress, and outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Contribute to the clinic's goals by meeting utilization targets while ensuring high levels of patient satisfaction.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will treat a varied patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, pediatric patients, individuals with neurological disorders, and athletes healing from sports-related injuries. Your expertise will help clients regain their mobility, enhance their physical performance, and improve their overall quality of life. You will leverage your clinical skills to create a tailored approach for each patient, ensuring their specific needs and goals are addressed throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Florida state license to practice physical therapy.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• A passion for building meaningful relationships with patients and promoting their functional recovery.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of clinical experience in physical therapy is required. Experience working in a rehabilitation center setting and familiarity with evidence-based treatment protocols will be advantageous in ensuring your success in this role. Additionally, a strong interest in ongoing professional development and community involvement will be beneficial as you engage with patients and local health initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits
