Dispatcher Supervisor

Essential Job Responsibilities Daily communication with 20+ CDL drivers, yard spotters, local delivery drivers and over-the-road drivers. Work with customers, drivers, vendors, management, HR, and other dispatchers. Reporting skills: Use PeopleNet, TMW, eLogs, Trip Manager, DOT, Company Compliance, medical, TotalMail to assist drivers and track their work/hours. Maintain tracking/reporting, Safety Program, Incidents, etc., with proper documentation for all reporting. Relationship building: Build positive relations with drivers, other dispatchers, managers, the Mill, customers, vendors, and other employees for mutual benefit. Safety: Follow safety protocol, track/report incidents. Monitor driver performance, report issues to Management. Review and inspect equipment; report issues timely. Response time: Handle all incoming calls and ensure timely responses to customers, vendors, drivers, carriers, etc. Communicate issues with drivers and Dispatch Supervisor, and escalating issues as necessary. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications A college degree is preferred, but not required. Previous dispatch experience required, minimum 3 years.
