We are looking for a motivated, experienced  Automotive Service Manager to lead our service department and deliver an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for the automotive industry, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to increase shop productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the service department
• Lead, coach, and develop service advisors and technicians
• Ensure exceptional customer service from vehicle check-in through delivery
• Schedule workflow to maximize technician efficiency and shop productivity
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including sales, gross profit, labor hours, and customer satisfaction
• Review and approve repair orders, estimates, and warranty claims
• Maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
• Ensure compliance with company policies, manufacturer standards, and safety regulations
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience managing an automotive service department
• Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair procedures
• Proven leadership and team-building skills
• Experience with shop management and estimating software (Mitchell a plus)
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• ASE certifications or manufacturer certifications are a plus
